The process - how we work

Getting Started - A Free Consultation

  • We begin in the way that suits you best - by email, a phone call or a video chat.

  • You can share whatever’s on your mind, the tasks you’re facing, your goals, and photos or videos if it’s a physical space that needs sorting.

  • I’ll listen, ask questions to get to know your situation better, and start forming ideas about how I can help.

  • You might feel a sense of relief just knowing that you’re no longer tackling this alone.

  • Ideas may start flowing, so make a note and share them with me—this is your project, after all!

Our Plan of Action

  • After our initial chat, I’ll send you a Plan of Action for your thoughts and feedback.

  • Once we’ve agreed on the plan, we’ll set some dates for on-site visits or remote work - whichever fits best.

  • You’ll receive an invoice for the next working session, payable to confirm the booking.

  • We’ll do this one step/ session at a time until you’re comfortable with the service.

  • You might feel a mix of excitement and a little trepidation. Rest assured, it’ll be worth it, and you’ll be so glad you took this step.

Work in Progress

  • As I work, I’ll continue to get to know you and gain a deeper understanding of what’s needed.

  • The Plan of Action may evolve to better fit your needs - I’ll keep you updated along the way.

  • Depending on the tasks, I might work remotely or on-site. Sometimes we’ll work together, at other times I’ll be handling things independently.

  • If I’m working remotely, I’ll send regular updates so you know exactly how things are progressing.

  • You should start to feel a sense of relief as you see positive changes taking shape. It’s natural to feel lighter and even motivated to tackle other items on your To-Do List!

The Results!

  • Reaching the end of a project is always a special time. We’ll take a step back to appreciate the results and celebrate what we’ve accomplished.

  • I’ll make sure everything is wrapped up, tying up any loose ends and providing you with relevant documents or information for future reference.

  • We’ll reflect on how it all went and maybe even discuss the next project on your list..

  • Hopefully, you’ll be so delighted with the outcome that you’ll feel inspired to send a testimonial!

  • The duration depends on the size and complexity of the project. After the initial consultation, we’ll provide an estimated timeline. This may change as the project develops - you’ll be in control of deciding how much time you book.

  • I work on-site across London and Hertfordshire but I can travel so do reach out to discuss your specific needs and location.

    For remote work - the world is our oyster, wherever you are I can help!

  • No special preparation is needed, you can leave everything as it is, so we can assess the situation accurately and develop an effective plan tailored to your needs.

    For on-site work, provision of parking permits when needed.

  • Anything suitable for selling in a charity shop, I’ll be happy to take - up to 4 bags free of charge if I’m in my car.

    For larger items, or quantities, I can organise these to be collected from you, by a local charity or clearance company.

  • Fees are charged at an hourly rate, with discounts for block purchases. How many hours depends on the type and scope of the project.
